# Otto Mate

## What is it?

Otto Mate is your tactical ally for orchestrating limit orders in the dynamic forex market. It is designed to place trades using a specific algorithm but you have the ability to filter by time, pairs, and direction. Essentially turning into an intraday/swing trading assistant. 

## How to use It

1. **Strategic Gold Plays:** Suppose GOLD is showing a bullish trend. With Otto Mate, you can command it to execute buy orders exclusively from Monday to Thursday, precisely at 7 am Eastern on the 1-minute chart. This strategic move allows you to capture potential upward movements with pinpoint accuracy.
2. **DXY Bearish Sentiment:** In a scenario where the US Dollar Index (DXY) is bearish, Otto Mate empowers you to capitalize on this trend. Direct Otto Mate to buy specific XXX/USD pairs, limiting trades to the time window between 7 am to 9 am Eastern. This tactical approach aligns your trades with the perceived weakness in the DXY.
3. **News-driven JPY Plays:** During news events, particularly in the energetic London session at 3 am Eastern, Otto Mate opens the door to sophisticated plays. Configure Otto Mate to trade two XXX/JPY pairs, covering both buy and sell directions on the 1-minute chart. This dynamic strategy allows you to navigate the currency market efficiently during high-impact news releases.
